DENVER, Oct. 22, 2026 — UKON, the cyber insurance partner for independent insurance agencies and managed service providers (MSPs), today announced it has joined the Pax8 Voyager Alliance Rewards program. Eligible U.S. Pax8 partners can now redeem 500 Rewards points for UKON’s MSP Risk Management Assessment and a personalized Risk Terrain Report, which shows in a single view where an MSP’s insurance, contracts and operations leave it exposed.

Every MSP carries exposure across its clients' environments, contracts and coverage, yet its own exposure is often the most difficult to see. A single cyber incident can raise questions of professional liability, insurance coverage, contractual obligation and client protection at the same time, and too often the gaps surface only after a loss. The Risk Terrain Report identifies those gaps in advance, allowing MSPs to close them and approach insurers and clients prepared.

“MSPs carry more responsibility for their clients every year, and that responsibility only grows as technology and threats change,” said Matt Hightower, CEO of UKON. “Through the Pax8 Voyager Alliance Rewards program, we’re giving MSPs a practical way to see where their own business is exposed, get ready for the insurance conversation and connect the security work they already do every day to real protection for their clients.”

The UKON MSP Risk Management Assessment looks at the four areas that drive an MSP’s financial and operational exposure:

  • Cyber Insurance and Tech E&O: The assessment measures current coverage against the services the MSP actually delivers, including policy limits, exclusions, professional liability and coverage gaps.

  • Legal Agreements: The assessment reviews master services agreements (MSAs) and related contracts for the obligations an MSP carries when something goes wrong, with contract review supported by UKON’s legal partner, Monjur.

  • Service Delivery: The assessment evaluates operational exposure across technology platforms, security responsibilities, automations, AI-enabled services and work across multiple client environments.

  • Client Cyber Insurance Readiness: The assessment examines how each client’s coverage, security requirements and risk practices affect the MSP’s own exposure.

Four areas of MSP risk in a single report

MSPs complete the assessment questionnaire and submit the relevant documents. UKON returns a personalized Risk Terrain Report with findings and clear next steps to strengthen protection.

Eligible MSPs that place qualifying coverage through UKON pay a $0 broker fee.* Placement is optional and not required to receive the assessment. Qualifying MSPs may also receive additional consultation and priority consideration for UKON’s Virtual Cyber Insurance Management (vCIM) program, a cyber practice operating system purpose-built for MSPs.

From assessment to coverage with vCIM

MSPs see risk in their clients' environments every day, but they are not licensed to sell the coverage that addresses it. Through vCIM, UKON places a licensed Virtual Cyber Insurance Manager alongside the MSP to answer cyber insurance questions, lead the co-branded client conversation and place coverage across the client base.

The MSP retains the client relationship while UKON manages the licensed insurance work, and security control gaps identified along the way can become upgrades the MSP sells and bills directly.

UKON has served the MSP community since its founding as FifthWall Solutions in 2016, when the company set out to give brokers and their clients specialized access to cyber insurance. FifthWall introduced its new identity as UKON at Pax8 Beyond 2025, where the company was a Platinum Sponsor, and its participation in the Voyager Alliance Rewards program extends a relationship with the Pax8 ecosystem that has grown alongside the company itself.

“The best partner experiences include turning complex business challenges into clear next steps,” said Kathryn Almendarez Marsman, SVP Global Vendor Alliances for Pax8. “UKON’s risk management assessment and report give Pax8 partners practical insight into their exposure and help them make more informed decisions for their own businesses and their clients.”

Purpose-Built for the Pax8 MSP Community

UKON's Virtual Cyber Insurance Managers, Will Brooks, Andy Runyan and Lupe Peterman, review findings with qualifying MSPs and place coverage through UKON's network of more than 50 carriers. In one documented case, UKON helped an MSP with $20 million in annual revenue reduce its premium by $7,000, or 28%, while maintaining $3 million in coverage.

"MSPs know their clients' technology better than anyone, but insurance asks a different set of questions about who is liable, what is covered and what the contract actually promises," said Andy Runyan, a UKON Virtual Cyber Insurance Manager. "The Risk Terrain Report answers those questions in one place, so providers can make informed decisions about protecting their own business and helping their clients manage cyber risk."

Available through Dec. 31

The UKON MSP Risk Management Assessment Reward launched Oct. 14, during Cybersecurity Awareness Month, and is open to eligible U.S. Pax8 Voyager Alliance partners in the Ignite, Velocity, Titan and Galactic tiers. Partners redeem 500 Rewards points through the Pax8 Marketplace, with one redemption per partner and a limit of 75 redemptions. The offer runs through Dec. 31, 2026, subject to availability, and program details, eligibility requirements and redemption instructions are available at ukon.com/pax8-voyager-alliance.
